AV Algodonal de los Llanos

The Los Llanos Algodonal Neighborhood Association was created on January 14, 2009 and has its social premises at Calle Diego de Ordaz Nº 81, in the Los Llanos neighborhood.

The idea came from a community development project from the City Council of Santa Lucía and a group of neighbors concerned about the low participation of residents, and the lack of a group that looked after the community interests of all.

We are in the newly built area of the Los Llanos neighborhood. Very close to the Ntra. Sra. De La Salud church and the Los Llanos Municipal swimming pool.

The social premises are in the Parque de la Centrifuga, which means that in front of the main door we have a sports field and a children's playground, on its side there is a public square; meeting place for the different neighbours.

We work to promote and activate citizen participation in the neighborhood; For this, we carry out different activities, with which we intend to reach children, young people and adults.

The results obtained please us and stimulate us to continue insisting that the neighborhood association each year take greater weight in the neighborhood and the minds of the neighbors.

It would be a great goal for the people involved in this project, that when asking about the local social to any neighbor in the neighborhood, know not only its location, but also the activities offered by the association, including the concerns we have towards the neighborhood and its inhabitants.
